PHARMAMIN-M: when biostimulation speaks the language of genes

In today’s viticulture, supporting fruit ripening without forcing it represents one of the most promising challenges for those striving for quality and sustainability. Enter PHARMAMIN-M, K‑Adriatica’s nutritional solution based on a pool of selected amino acids, specifically developed to support the plant physiologically during the key phases of fruit ripening.

A Molecular Insight into Action: The Transcriptomic Study
To better understand the mode of action of PHARMAMIN-M, the Department of Biotechnology at the University of Verona conducted a transcriptomic study on wine grapes (Corvina and Rondinella varieties). The aim was to monitor early molecular responses triggered by PHARMAMIN-M.
One week after application (both foliar and directly on the clusters), berries were collected for gene expression analysis. The results were striking: over 200 genes were significantly regulated, confirming that PHARMAMIN-M is capable of triggering deep physiological responses within just a few days.
One of the most relevant findings was the consistency of response between the two application methods (leaf and cluster), which validates the versatility and effectiveness of the product regardless of application route.
